About
Enso connects people, ideas and opportunities to act together. Ask questions, share experiences and find people who care about similar things. Conversations can become connections, groups and small next steps, with AI helping bring contributions together while keeping differences visible.
How to read Enso
The same small symbols and colours identify contributions throughout Enso. Colour describes the kind of contribution; shape describes its format. A reading is provisional, not a verdict.

- Audio / headphones
- Headphones mark an audio contribution; open it to listen. AI episodes keep their diamond, including when they have audio.
- Size
- Truth, Kindness and Usefulness together determine size: the weakest of the three limits growth. Missing evaluations keep a neutral size. AI examples are drawn smaller.
- Outline thickness
- More distinct connected contributions make the outline thicker. Thickness is not a truth score or a vote count.
- Glow and halo
- A soft inner glow represents Fun. A restrained outer halo marks recent contributions or related activity, fading over seven days. Selection changes emphasis, not these meanings.
- Proximity
- Logical and thematic relationships bring contributions near one another. Topic labels describe clusters across accessible rooms. This is not a geographical map.
- Socrates+
- Position shows the balance between Truth, Kindness, Usefulness and Fun; size preserves their shared meaning. These are fallible, contextual evaluations, not objective measurements.
- Trends
- Horizontally: questions and needs, through ideas, towards action. Vertically: quieter topics towards growing activity. For you highlights links to your followed topics; Overall shows the shared activity signals.
- Groups, projects and places
- Groups bring people together around a topic; projects turn ideas into work. Place pins open the physical Earth map. That map keeps real locations separate from the idea map.
Types of bridge
A bridge is an interpreted relationship supported by linked contributions. Open it to inspect its evidence. No bridge is a valid result too.

The characters of EnsoTalk
Five fictional AI characters explore contributions, open questions and possible next steps. They are not real contributors and do not speak for the community. Their suggestions remain suggestions; people decide.
Mara · The grounded observer
Brings concrete ideas from contributions into the conversation and distinguishes observation from interpretation. Enjoys plain language and dry humour.
Tavi · The future thinker
Imagines possible futures and the practical steps towards them, without presenting scenarios as predictions.
Oren · The data scientist
Finds patterns, checks what the evidence supports and explains uncertainty plainly. Never invents statistics.
Pip · The warm comedian
Finds the absurd in everyday assumptions, including the cast's own. Uses humour to open curiosity, never to ridicule suffering.
Vera · The grounded romantic
Notices care, beauty and belonging in ordinary life. Makes hope tangible without inventing feelings or happy endings.
Mara, Tavi and Oren lead the first two episodes, with brief visits from Pip and Vera. From episode three, all five are regulars.
